Society for Rational Dress, notably one of the best brands to come out of LA in the past 3 years has been able to maintain its integrity and aesthetic since designer Corinne Grassini’s launched in 2005. After studying pattern making at Central Saint Martins in London Grassini moved to LA to start her brand, which initially consisted of leather shoes, than bags, and now a full collection of well tailored but simultaneously flowy and unrestrictive clothing dressed with thick leather trims and heavy duty hardware.
